Whenever a controversy begins, social media is used to blow up the matter by circulating content and pics which may be fake or photoshopped. Here are some photoshopped images that went viral on social media along with the ones which show the reality:
1. Indian PM Modi visited the flood affected Chennai aerially and this photoshopped image was posted on social media, however, the mistake was done by the government agency PIB.
2. During the same visit, PM Modi was seen taking blessings of a Sheikh by touching his feet but in reality the image was doctored from a photo in which Modi is touching senior BJP leader L K Advani’s feet.
3. Mahatama Gandhi has also been made prey of photoshopping; he can be seen with a foreigner lady in fake photo while in reality he was with Nehru.
4. Modi’s photo in which he was seen sweeping also got viral on social media but actually it was a fake photo.
5. During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, this photo of a girl with Modi tattooed on her back also got viral on Internet; see the reality yourself:
6. After the JNU student leader union President Kanhaiya Kumar was jailed on the charges of sedition, this photo in which an Islamic map is shown in the background was circulated but in reality there was no map behind Kanhaiya.
7. During the gulf visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a photo got viral in which he was seen offering prayers, in reality he didn’t, have a look at the real one:
8. After JNU controversy, a photo of members of Hindu organization was circulated in which they were shown burning Indian flag but in actual they were with a Pakistani flag.
