1. Road to Revolution : Live at Milton Keynes featured Mike Shinoda rapping the first verse of "Hands Held High" in acapella. This wasn't part of the show, but Mike spotted a fan with a sign reading "Hands Held High", and decided to perform a verse. This inspired him to perform either of the 2 verses as an intro to "Crawling" in later shows.
2. Chester Bennington's relationship with alt-grunge band Stone Temple Pilots starts from 1992. He used to be a big fan of their music, and while touring with Linkin Park on the Family Values Tour in 2001, he joined them onstage for a rendition of their signature track "Wonderful". Later on in 2013, as you probably know, he became their vocalist. This however, failed to land him in Scott Weiland's bad books
3. Chester Bennington has also been featured in various covers alongside artists like Disturbed (covering "Walk" by Pantera) and Motley Crue (in a duet for the re-release of their hit ballad "Home Sweet Home")
4. Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn recently toured Germany and were allowed to paint sections of the broken Berlin Wall using spray paint and brushes.
5. Linkin Park have been praised by members of the UNO and have received multiple accolades for their active involvement in Climate Change and initiating a "Power the World" campaign to help young children in poor countries to gain access to electricity.
6. Joe Hahn being a big fan of the Transformers franchise is the reason why the first 3 movies featured Linkin Park in the soundtrack.
7. Mike Shinoda is featured in the documentary "The Distortion of Sound" alongside Steve Aoki, A.R Rahman, Slash, Hans Zimmer and Snoop Dogg, among others.
8. Tensions between the band and Warner Brothers (their record label) reached a massive peak between 2004 and 2006 when the band refused to obey make a third album along the lines of Meteora and Hybrid Theory. Initiating "Music for Relief" and "Machine Shop Records" during this period helped them remain with Warner Brothers and produce their subsequent albums.
